Marlow & District LETS

Marlow & District LETS covers Marlow, High Wycombe, Maidenhead and surrounding areas. LETS is a sophisticated bartering network. Its aim is to help meet the needs of the local community by trading skills, goods, services and hire of equipment.

As a member you will receive:

• 20 BARTs to start trading
• a current Directory
• a LETS voucher book
• regular newsletters
• a copy of the constitution

A member requiring a service contacts a member offering the service and agrees the terms of the transaction. There is no obligation on members to accept a request. Once a task has been completed, the recipient gives the provider a LETS voucher, made out for the appropriate number of BARTs, which he or she then sends to the Administrator, who records these transactions in both members' accounts. A record of all trading is circulated on a regular basis.
