Pang Valley Countryside Project

The Pang Valley Countryside Project was founded in 1993 by concerned individuals in response to over abstraction of water in the River Pang catchment. The project has expanded and its aims are now the conservation and enhancement of the natural beauty of the Pang Valley environment and to help people appreciate the countryside.

The Pang Valley Countryside Project's activities include wildlife and landscape management advice to landowners, preparation of agri-environmental schemes, and practical conservation tasks with the Pang Valley Conservation Volunteers.

Join The Friends of the Pang and Kennet Valleys and take part in guided walks, talks, training events and conservation tasks in the area.
