Greenlink Berkshire

The network of community groups committed to the care of the environment, greener living and development of the local economy in Berkshire.

Greater Reading Environmental Network

The Greater Reading Environmental Network (GREN) acts as an umbrella for a broad range of local groups with an environmental interest, providing a forum for discussion and action.

Any local group from greater Reading (including Earley, Woodley, Pangbourne and Theale) with a focus ranging from nature conservation to climate change can join.

To date GREN has set up a Yahoo group to share information, post news and make contact with other groups.  It has also submitted a comprehensive and collective response to Reading Borough Council's draft Climate Change Strategy consultation.

It has also enabled five local Climate Action Groups to come together and plan for co-ordinated action.
