True Food Community Co-operative is a not-for-profit community enterprise - run by local volunteers - that sells economical and healthy organic foods and ecofriendly household goods in the Reading area.

We have a store open six days in Emmer Green, and run indoor markets at community centres in Central Reading, Bath Road, Newtown and Earley.

We specialise in organic, biodynamic and naturally grown foods, Fairtrade goods, ecofriendly household & bodycare products and special dietary needs. Quality, affordable fresh fruit and veg, authentic bread, organic groceries, loose wholefoods (zero packaging!), babycare products, low/no salt and gluten-free ranges.

Active True Food members get a discount on shopping.

Entrance to our markets is free. Fairtrade refreshments by donation.
