Greenlink Berkshire

The network of community groups committed to the care of the environment, greener living and development of the local economy in Berkshire.

Hungerford Environmental Action Team (HEAT)

The aim of HEAT is to reduce the impact of the Hungerford area on climate change through meeting targets for the reduction of CO² emissions, specifically:

reduction of 20% by 2011
reduction of 50% by 2016

HEAT pursues an inclusive partnership with community groups, forums and markets, schools and businesses.  Visit us at the monthly Hungerford Farmers' Market where we have a stall or join us on one of our guided walks.

It has set up a Steering Group & Working Groups for Energy, Transport, Food, Education and Employment, Landscape and Biodiversity and Waste.
