Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue treats and cares for sick wildlife and rehabilitates to release back into the wild. They have accommodation for various wildlife but specialise in Hedgehogs, Otters, Badgers and Foxes. Based in Camberley, Surrey they regularly cover much of Hampshire and Berkshire. Nature Reserves

BBOWT, the local Wildlife Trust own and look after 88 nature reserves throughout the three counties of Berks, Bucks & Oxon.  The flagship reserve in Berkshire is the Nature Discovery Centre at Thatcham.   To find out where they are visit www.bbowt.org.uk/wildlife/reserves

Wolves

Wise up to a wolf. Wolves are alive and well in Berkshire! The UK Wolf Conservation Trust, Butlers Farm, Beenham, Reading RG7 5NT Tel 0118 971 3330 www.ukwolf.org works for a better deal for European wolves in the wild through education and close encounters. Volunteers get to know the individual wolves and take them for walks in the local woods.
